Dr. McDonald was born May 27, 1933 in Laurens, SC. He served faithfully as  minister and pastor to several Methodist Churches in the surrounding area before founding and establishing the Cathedral Community Church in the year 1975, located in Mauldin, SC where he served for 46 years. Always by his side was his loving wife of 69 years, Mrs. Betty "Joyce" McDonald. 

        Dr. Bill had a motto which he based all his teaching on...                    

"All Bible All The Time"

This has become the motto of Cathedral Community Church.
